Flåm is packed with great attractions and activities. The most famous is Flåm Railway
one of the steepest standard gauge railway lines in the world, running through amazing
scenery. The most adrenalin pumping attraction is Flåm Zipline, the longest Zipline in
Northern Europe which takes you almost 1400 m down the steepest parts of valley. You
can combine these attractions with an excellent bike ride through the Flåm Valley.
You get a great view of the fjords from the cool Stegastein Viewpoint in Aurland. If you
want to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Næreøyfjorden, you can do it in several
different ways. We recommend a fast fjordcruise with RIBs or by one of the electric
vessels. You can also rent bikes or small Renault Twizys and explore the surroundings on
your own, or do a more relaxed activity like visiting the Railway Museum in Flåm.
