Some years ago, Flåm Bakeri braught two skilled french pastry chefs and bakers to Flåm to improve the bakery. Their skills are now passed on to trained bakers who offer a tempting selection of both local specialities and great international temptations. Here you can choose from a wide range of sandwiches, pastry, bread, ice cream and take away pizza. We recommend to test out the traditional Norwegian cinnamon buns. Flåm Bakeri also provides the hotels with fresh bread and pastry each day The bakery is located by the seafront at the main pier in Flåm - in the yellow building next to the train station. The bakery has tables in front where you can sit down and enjoy your food and do some people watching and all the activity. Flåm is one of the largest tourist hubs in Norway. On a normal day, several thousand guest visit from all over the world, so you can meet a lot of interesting people. The bakery is a perfect place to stock up some food before you go on an excursion - bring some with you to Stegastein Viewpoint or if you go hiking or biking in Flåm Valley.
