The Flåm Railway Museum - learn the
story about the amazing railway and
how it was built.

Beer tasting at in a viking long house at
Ægir BrewPub in the center of Flåm.
•
Buy pastry and traditional Norwegian
cinnamon buns at Flåm Bakeri and do
some people watching from a bench in
the village.

Visit the factory outlet for
Aurlandsskoen, a well renowned
Norwegian shoe factory in Flåm
•
Go shopping in one of the huge
souvenir shops in the village

Rent a Renault Twizy and explore the
Flåm area on your own
•
Ride the famous Flåm Railway from
Flåm to Myrdal and back, including a
few minutes stop at a breathtaking
waterfall where a hulder dances in the
shadows of the mountains (in summer)

Rent a bike and go for a ride up the
valley towards Myrdal with magnificent
mountains and waterfalls.

Visit Stegastein Viewpoint above
Aurland, about 20 minutes drive from
Flåm.
•
Hike to Brekkefossen Waterfall, about 5
km. Beautiful view over Flåm. Also
available with guide.

Fjordsafari - explore Unesco World
Heritage Site Nærøyfjorden in a high-
speed rib boat in search for eagles,
seals and small dolphins.

Fjordcruise at Nærøyfjorden by the
electric Fjord vessels

Visit the Vikingvalley at Gudvangen and
experience viking history and culture.
4 or more hours

Ride with the Flåm Railway to Myrdal or
one of the small local stations before,
and hike back to Flåm. (about 20 km)

Rent a bike in Flåm and bring it with
you to Myrdal on the Flåm railway and
ride back to Flåm on the last part of the
famous Rallarvegen.
•
A visit to Undredal, the small, remote
village by the fjord which was used by
Disney as model for Arrendale in the
movie Frozen.
